Your Innkeepers, Michiko Yoshida-Hunter, Aleks Hunter, and Kuniko Hunter

Michiko Yoshida Hunter, is a sixth generation restaurant operator from Yokohama Japan. She holds degrees in Psychology from Rikkyo University in Tokyo, Interior Design from Fashion Institute of Technology In New York, and is completing her thesis for her MS in Lighting from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. Michiko worked as an instructor of Interior Design, Environmental Design and Rendering and Presentation Technologies At Sage Junior College of Albany and a Lighting Designer in New York City. Prior to purchasing the Inn she was a lighting designer in Manhattan.
Aleks Hunter is a former naval nuclear engineer degrees in Nuclear Engineering Technology and Computer Science from the State University of New York. He has worked as an industrial engineering technician for a toy manufacturer, an industrial designer designing commercial and monumental window systems and administering an integrated  CAD and database system for a once progressive engineering department. For the last year prior to purchasing the inn, Aleks worked as a project manager for a construction company in Manhattan. Aleks still does freelance AutoCAD programming, and aluminum extrusion design for commercial and monumental window systems. Since buying the Inn Aleks has been restoring their 200 year old barn and building his dream woodworking shop.

Kuniko Hunter, having enjoyed growing up in the Vermont countryside, and benefiting from the education she received at Chester-Andover Elementary and Green Mountain Union High Schools is now studying biomedical engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, making here a second generation RPI woman! Kuniko is an avid skier and soccer player and this year has discovered Rugby and loves everything about it except the long rides to other schools.
